YouTube monetization requirements in Pakistan 2025

 As of 2025, YouTube has updated its monetization requirements to make it more accessible for creators in Pakistan and worldwide. To join the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) and start earning from your content, you need to meet the following criteria:

1. Subscriber Count: Your channel must have at least 500 subscribers

2. Public Uploaded: You should have published three public videos within the last 90 days.

3. Watch Time or Shorts Views: Fulfill one of the following:

  Watch Hours: Accumulate 3,000 watch hours on your long-form videos over the past 12 months.

   - Shorts Views: Achieve 3 million views on your YouTube Shorts within the last 90 days.

Meeting these thresholds grants access to fan funding features like Super Thanks, channel memberships, and YouTube Shopping. However, to earn revenue from ads, additional requirements include:

Subscriber Count: Reach 1,000 subscribers.

-Watch Time or Shorts Views: Achieve either 4,000 watch hours on long-form videos in the past year or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days.

Adherence to YouTube's Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and monetization policies is mandatory.
